I am about to purchase a 16ft

I am about to purchase a 16ft flat bottom boat to duck hunt with. I am thinking about getting the 20hp Tohatsu for weight purposes. Will this motor push this boat okay or do I need to go bigger. Keep in mind I am no speed demon. lol I just want it to plane okay and run well.

I think that's fairly fast for the application

You hit the nail on the head with the first one.lol seriously do you think I will be happy with the motor. if not what would you recommend?
