boat came to me after the star
boat came to me after the starter was replaced by the owner. now when you turn the key it does not crank. i do not have power on the red wire at the plug where it plugs into the key switch. my 20a fuse on the engine is good and i have battery voltage on the boat side of the engine wiring harness but nothing going to the key. i jumped battery voltage to the red wire at the bullet connector behind the key switch. the engine will now crank it will start and run but when i turn the key to the off position it stays running. im not a yamaha guy so any input will be greatly appreciated. thank you!
