Sea king no neuteral

I also have a 7HP Sea King K700 but it is a 3107A. It has nuetal, but I think its missing a spring or something to keep the shift lever in place? Have been looking for a manual for this motor, but no success. Motor has not been used for several years, and have been thinking about scrapping it.
 
they have a neutral clutch, I think its the same clutch that Eska used....if its just the cam on the shift lever thats fixable...but if its the actual clutch they usally break in gear so you have your best out come already, unless you want to put 50$ into a used one. check the Eska files sticky for Marshall public library, you might find a manual there....PM me if you don't
 
Help. I have the same motor and today the lever to shift from neutral to forward came of and fell in the lake, it's gone. The motor still runs and prop spins. Do I need this and is it fixable?
