"Hi all! I am getting my new 2010 20hp tomorrow. Can't wait... I've read the manual and i have a question. it says that the first 0 - 10 min idel, 10min - 2hrs.to run less than 1/2 throttle then 2 - 3hrs. less than 3/4 but it also says that full throttle is allowed for 1min every 10min.

Do i have to run full throttle every 10 min? or i can just continue at less than 3/4 etc..."
 
Cut the times in half and occa

Cut the times in half and occasional bursts at WOT are fine. Just don't run any one speed for more than 15 minutes at any one time. The idea is for the piston rings to not become worn in at one angle...The other reason is that by running a new engine gently any obvious problem can be corrected before it goes boom.
