"The pi$$er outlet on my BF50A continually gets plugged and the stream is restricted. I can clear it by pushing a wire into the fitting but
it always plugs again. It's run in saltwater and flushed after each use.
I just had the lower unit serviced, new impellor, lube and thermostat.
There was no deterioration of the old impellor.

Any idea's"

Can you determine what the object is that blocks it. Maybe hold a container under the water stream while you unclog it. Then check to see what it was. It might give some clue.

"Trace the water tube back to the block (it should be on the starboard side just to the right of the fuel pump) and disconnect it at the block. Blow back through the outlet with compressed air or use your wire. Hopefully, the object was still in the tube until you cleaned it out.

The outlet has a smaller hole than the hose's diameter, so blow from the outlet toward the motor...or you could disconnect it at both ends. It is probably just some debris or small pebbles.
Also, be sure the hose is not kinked when you reinstall it."
