I am going to take my prop to

I am going to take my prop to get redone.How do i remove the prop do i just take off the nut and it will come off or is there more to it.

"There is a washer with tabs on it. three of the tabs should be bent over locking the bronze tab washer in place and the nut.

Straighten out the tabs. Hold the prop carefully and firmly and loosen the nut all the way off.

Pull the prop off the shaft. Carefully note waht parts go where.

The pic attached shows a standard prop.

If you have one with a plastic hib there will be additional parts on the inside of the prop.
