"it's a 2-stroke 9.8hp. You can get a copy of the owner's manual from the tohatsu website at www.tohatsu.com. It's under the "tech info" section of their website. You can also use the "contact us" page to send a request for the model year. If you would like a copy of the parts catalog, one of their dealers has posted PDF copies of the parts books on his website. The website is www.internetoutboards.com. On the open page there's a graphic for "free parts catalog". Just find the one for the M9.8B model."
