In neutral runs fine from slow

In neutral runs fine from slow to fast. In forward and reverse increase throttle and at midband stalls. Cleaned carb and inspected fuel pump no obvious faults.
Any ideas

More information. Take the propellor off carry out check in Forward/Reverse does not stall midband.
