"I remember reading somewhere that there is an identical pump like the one on a 496 but made of diffrent material (NON BRASS). It will work on the 496 you just have to use original brass rear plate ( with sensor) and mounting bracket. Has anyone heared of this? if so what was the brand and part number for that pump?
