"I have a 1988 Larson dc 175 C

"I have a 1988 Larson dc 175 Citation, open bow, 3.0 GM Mercruiser i/o. Only getting exhaust smell when running at full speed. Vents on boat are clear/open/heading in right direction. Does not do at low speed with blower on. Not sure if bellows have been replaced. Cannot visually see anything wrong with them. Think smell is coming from back of boat to the front passenger side from gunalls?"

If the exhaust has a leak in the engine compartment you should be able to detect it audibly. Use a spray bottle w/soapy water in it and spray the joints and gaskets of the entire exhaust; bubbles will appear at leaks. Run the blower 24/7 while boating.

Clean your spark arestor/air cleaner.

Probably excess crankase venting and not bieng sucked into flame arestor.
