"hello, I started the outboard and left idling for about 15 minutes while I rigged the boat. All of a sudden the motor started slowing down and then stopped - and I couldn\t restart it. There was lots of gas. I don't know if water was coming out of the back coolant indicator while it was running. If the pump wasn't working - could this have seriously damaged the motor? Any suggestions as to what I can look for as a remedy??
