I have a merc sterndrive alpha
I have a merc sterndrive alpha 1 with a 4.3L merc. The trim guage does not work at all. The needle is at the bottom and doesn't move. I left the existing guage connected and connected wires from the back of it to a new guage. The old guage works when they are both connected. Any idea what's wrong with the old guage?
