I just aquired a boat as a restoration project. The engine (1977 318 chrysler) was improperly winterized and I found a freeze plug laying in the bilge. I stuck it back in and the engine started right up but after a few min utes of running there was water in the oil. Is the block cracked beyond repair or is there something simple to check.
