"New to the site, seems to be lots of good informaiton here, some of which I have already learned at the school of hard knocks.

I am going through my boat and getting it tuned up for the fall crabbing season and am bugged by the cost of a distributor cap. $74 seems like a lot. The last one I got a couple of years ago was almost as much.

Has anyone come up with a comparable one from the automotive side? I know the one from my 89 240 does not match.

Any ideas, or should I just suck it up?

Yes I brought one of these and

Yes I brought one of these and recieved it this morning from the supplier.I am in Western Australia.Paid A$25.00 for delivery.I did not get what was advertised and have sent them a email and now am waiting on there reply.
