I was wondering should i chang

I was wondering should i change the engine and lower unit oil before winterization or next year when it comes out for spring they where both changed at the beginning of the season.I was also wondering the same about my fuel water seperator.
 
I choose to do it w/winterizat

I choose to do it w/winterization in order to detect any water/oil or water/fuel contamination that can be fixed over the winter. Many others say do it in the spring. Your choice.

"If you do it in the spring you run the chance of leaving water where it shouldn't be over the winter. It can freeze, expand, and crack housings and blocks like they were made of cheap plastic. That's the theory I live by. Make sure to leave your outdrive all the way down too to drain all water out and put a plastic bag over the prop hub to keep snow and rain out that could freeze and crack that housing."
