My 1986 Mercruiser 470 has a knock when started cold but goes away about 2 minutes later once it warms up to 120 degrees. Could it be a wrist pin? If I pull the number 3 plug wire the knock goes away. I dont think it is a rod bearing since it would knock all the time. thanks for any ideas.
