"Shift cable checks ok. Outdrive shift checks ok. It is very hard to go to reverse when everything is hooked up. My problem is that the retaining pawl rod is binding on the lock collar. I can tilt up and down and the od locks in the down position, regardless of whether the lock collar is engaged or not. It unlocks when I tilt up only. Is this correct? Thanks for any insight."
