"I've been running this engine for several years now in my '57 Century Coronado. It was originally installed in a 1963 Century Sabre. It never warms up enough to move the temp guage. Touch the water neck after running at 2200-2500 rpm cruise and still, just luke warm. Obviously, the thermostat temp (160, cant find a 142) doesn't matter if it doesn't warm up enough to open it. This engine is still running its original aluminum exhaust manifolds, the original oil and trans cooler (mounted on the port side of the block) and it has the dual impeller Sherwood water pump. I'd sure like to get it to run around 150 to keep condensation out of the oil, not to mention get a longer engine life. Ideas???"

bro i wouldnt worry about it, ur not gonna get condensation in ur motor unless u keep it under 2 g for ten hours straight, whats ur water temp on the lake or sea ur in
