"Anybody ever have problems retrieving information with a Rinda or Mercruiser scanner? My engines run great, no problems that I am aware of. I plugged in a scanner (actually 2 different scanners) to get total hours and just to take a look at the systems and the scanner is giving me incorrect information, it reads 7.1 volts, 0 RPM running etc... I have checked all wires at the DLC and they give me the readings that the Merc manual says they should. Not quite sure what to think of this?? Could it be a grounding issue? Where are the grounds on this engine, the manual gives me no info as to their location.
