Need help with some wires

I have a 1972 slickcraft and i

I have a 1972 slickcraft and i have these 2 green wires coming from the drive and i was told these were for my automatic trans and i was also told that originally they werent both green wires. I have no idea where these wires go. I followed my wires from my throttle and there werent any that went to the back of my engine they went to my dash if you coild please help me that would be great thanks alot.

or look for a used one on eBay.
(or, just white out 4 spark plug wires, I can't imagine there's any serious difference in the 4 cylinder or 8 cylinder wiring except the actual distributor)

It sure wouldn't hurt to have a factory manual and do some reading about how the outdrive works.
Not to sound smart-alecky, but your reference to an automatic transmission suggests you have a lot of reading to do before properly maintaining this boat. "
