Wires on gm mercruiser

I have a 1972 slickcraft and i

I have a 1972 slickcraft and i have these 2 green wires coming from the drive and i was told these were for my automatic trans and i was also told that originally they werent both green wires. I have no idea where these wires go. I followed my wires from my throttle and there werent any that went to the back of my engine they went to my dash if you coild please help me that would be great thanks alot.

What you have is a OMC stringe

What you have is a OMC stringer drive.

Please repost on OMC section
