"The part I need is not available for 4 to 6 weeks. That's waaayyy too long for me to get fishing again! The part is Honda #36550-ZW5-003, Valve Assy. (idle air control valve). The Honda dealers I've called in So. FL say it is not a stock item and has to be back ordered. If anyone has one please let me know. Thanks. Stan"

"Just-In-Time, Seams OK after cleaning it and engine did not die at idle anytime on sea trial. However, RPMs dropped to 500 once and it almost died. The IAC valve read only 7 ohms before cleaning (service manual says normal range is 10 to 13 ohms). After cleaning ohms read 12.1. Does this part function as a reostat and could it get stuck on 7 ohms when dirty? Thanks for your input."
