OMC Shift Assist Module Part Number

"I have a 1988 Bayliner 5litre

"I have a 1988 Bayliner 5litre4v, 8 cyclinder boat, I removed my stock Shift Assist Module unit which was a 4 wire unit, in 1996 when I bought a OMC #916438 conversion kit with a Prestolite breakerless electronic ignition and a 5 wire Shift assist module unit & cable, also installed 2-Diodes & 2-Resistors. All cable ajustments are correct and the swithes function properly. The shift assist module doesn't lower the RPM's. It doesn't have a part number written on it. and the kit number doesn't exist in the system. I need a Shift assist module part number that works for a ignition with a Pointless (Electronic)distributor, that it would be compatable with.
