"I have a recently purchased 2000 tohatsu 2000 4hp 4 stroke. It starts easy, a few pulls and will idle fine, but when you run at mid to full speed while not in gear it misses out. I have not noticed this as much when in gear. According the company I purchased it from, it was checked out by a mechanic and compression was good,rocker arms were adjusted and carb cleaned. Any ideas
where to start?
Also I notice fuel filer was not completely full so I disconnected to see if I could eliminate the air pocket but fuel pored out but the air pocket in the fuel filter remained."
