Do note that there is a 280 single prop drive, a 280 DP, a 280 T drive, a 280 PT drive.
All transmissions are of the same ratio..... lowers are not!
Each component, when fitted to a different Intermediate housing, MUST be re-shimmed.

"I'm looking to buy a boat with a blown engine. I am looking at all my options to fix and was wondering if the 280 had any significant differences accross the range.

You have confimed my suspicions that they are all basically same with differences such as dual prop, power trim etc. IE: All the basic single 280 legs will be the same except for different rations depending on engine fittd to.
