"Good spark to dist cap, runs fine cold but at less than 1,000 RPM kills when hot and unable to shift to go. It will restart ok and will run ok if I can get it going so long as I run it above 1,500 RPMs. Runs good at high speeds - hot or cold. When eng cold everything fine. Carburator adjusted fine. Elec ignition - no condenser or points. Always use Seaform fresh gas."

1. So is it boggin out when you try to accelerate ? - if so then your accell pump and/or circuit is dirty.

2. Does it run rought at idle when warm? - if so then the idle mixture isn't quite right. but I'm guessin number one, cuz you said it will restart Ok.. which means the idle mixture is good.

What does the engine idle at in Gear?"
