I have a trim motor that will raise the outdrive but not back down - when I press the down button on the switch there is nothing from the trim pump so it is no even trying to lower the outdrive. Having twin engines I've swapped over the cables, swtiches etc. and the problem appears to remain with the pump itself - given that all of the connections are modular it does not appear to be a connection issue. I'm trying to avoid the cost of a new motor/pump any ideas what I can test next?
