Buddy of mine left Newport harbor (So Cal) heading to Long beach marina to meet up with me. Eight miles out he started losing power and speed. Temperature rose and oil pressure dropped from 40 to 20 lbs . He reduced speed from 13 to 7 knots temp went down to 180 oil pressure stayed at 20lbs. He limped back to port however he described hearing metallic sounds. He will be calling his mechanic. Any Idea what happened??
