"When the key is off the gauge
"When the key is off the gauge reads empty. when I turn the key it goes very fast to full. I only have about 10 gallons in a 52 gallon tank. I did the gauge test by jumping the terminals, and it fell back to empty. I then took out the sending unit, and it is giving me between 25 and 245 ohms (although now that I think about it, there was a . to make it .25 and 2.45 ohms but i thought that was just the meter setting). I then attached alligator clips from the sending unit and the gauge and still got full. I did notice when moving the float that the gauge would go from full to really full, so it does move, just not a lot. Thanks."
