Would my 9.8 4 stroke fuel pum

Would my 9.8 4 stroke fuel pump be strong enough
to pull through a cannister fuel filter/water
seperator?If so would the filter go before or
after the primer bulb.

"It does not matter where the bulb goes...The filter should be placed as close to the engine as possible. IE The closer you can get the filter to the female fuel fitting, on the engine end of the fuel line, the more of a chance it has to intercept anything that might come loose from the line itself. Before the advent of alcohol in fuel it did not make a difference at all."
