"Hello, Motor is a 2005 BF75A with 260 hrs on it. Runs ok at idle speed. Motor bogs and will cut off when accelerating. The only way I can get it to full throttle is to keep bumping the choke while slowly accelerating. Motor seems to run good once it gets past 3000 rpm. Can hear an occasional click at low rpm.(motor choking itself?) I completely drained the 27gal. gas tank yesterday. (removed and turned it upside down). I put in fresh gas and a couple of ounces of this stuff called Ethynol Medic(it's a cleaner/stabilizer.) Took the boat out for a test run and had same problem. Going to replace fuel filter today. Could it be fouled plugs or do you guys thinks its a carb problem?
Thanks, Ray"

"The symptoms you describe wil

"The symptoms you describe will be caused by either old fuel, faulty thermostat, or carbs.
You've already replaced the fuel, so that leaves the other two. Replace the thermostat next as it's easier & cheaper than overhauling the carbs.
