"Keeps jumping time, belt's good, dist. pin and gear "appears" to be fine. I was told if you turn the button and it doesn't bounce back (spring loaded they said) that it is bad. I tried it and it didn't seem like it was spring loaded, it didn't "bounce back" like he said. Can anyone enlighten me on this, it's a 1989 2.3 Ford Cobra w/ Mallory Dist."
