"Runing down the lake yesterday,boat dies.The hot wire was loose from the starter.Tighten it and took back off.went about 100 yards dies agin.Now
Boat will not turn over,its like its has a bad battery but battery reads 12.83v.Can anyone help?"

"the best thing to try first in that case is to disconnect the battery, take some sand paper to all of the battery connections and clean them till shiny. the Positive and the Negative (most important!!!)"

"What year is the engine, what is the voltage read at the Battery when the engine is running ? If you disconnect the battery pos or neg while running does the engine die ? If so your Altenator may need to be serviced."
