"Trying to get this motor read
"Trying to get this motor ready for water. It has set for several years but ran great when put up. I cleaned the carbs, replaced water pump so far. It fires up and these are my issues:
At idle the horn beeps 3 times every 10 seconds or so (no gauges yet). Oil injection??? I noticed the starboard side of the engine runs hotter than the port side. Can I remove the oil injection easily and premix? If not, what should I do to the oil injection system -replace filter-clean oil lines? How can I be sure its getting oil. Is there anything else to check before putting it to work? I am going to change out the plugs and lower unit oil."
