Stalls from forward to reverse at idle

I have a 1996 Yamaha130saltwat

I have a 1996 Yamaha130saltwater series runs good at high rpm .But when getting ready to dock at idle from forward to reverse motor stalls.I adjusted idle screw on linkage to about 900+rpm
any help would be appreciated thanks
 
I had a similar problem with m

I had a similar problem with my 1994 150 SS series. Rebuilt the carburetors and fuel pumps and all was well.

Thanks Al for your response I bought the boat about 2 years ago and the carbs.were rebuilt at that time.I don't know about the fuel pump.
