"I have a 60HP 2stk Yamaha on a 198 DLX Carolina Skiff. It seems that it uses at least twice the fuel I expect it to use. It turns 5500rpm with a 13 1/2 X 14 prop. I had the carbs overhauled about a year ago, and it seems to run fine, and does not smoke. I plan to measure the mileage with a gallon of gas and a handheld GPS. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. eubie"
