Hard warm starts

"I am having a hard time with

"I am having a hard time with warm starts, when cold she fires right up, within a few seconds of turning the ignition. But when warm, she cranks and cranks.... she`ll fire up finally, but not until the words "sea-tow" come to mind. Any suggestions would be helpful, its a 1989 85hp force. In april I adjusted carbs and checked timing.

"Sounds like the carbs are a little lean, it's best to adjust the carbs in the water, at idle, in gear (tied to a dock or trailer at a ramp) Buckets work in a pinch but the water pressure in a bucket isn't like a lake or river."
