"I have a 1986 Ray with twin 2

"I have a 1986 Ray with twin 260hp IB's. Both engines perform very well. the port howeverseems to run a little rich, especially at idle. Should i back each screw out a quarter or vise versa?? there are no vacuum leaks."

"backing the screw out makes it rich, it's best to tune the idle mixture, with the engine warmed up, in the water and in gear. turn in till it stumbles, then out till it stumbles then divide the diff.. sometimes it's not quite a stumble, need to use your ears.(the ones on either side of yo hed.) :)"
