"I had that fuel problem a couple weeks ago (contaminated gas) I lost about 5 mph off my top end speed after the fuel situation was straightened out. I am thinking carb..... I pulled plugs and they where tanish in color which means the carb is set right and there is no other syptoms, just a little loss of the top end and it sounds little rougher than usual..It does run fine other than that, starts right up and idles fine.. I am thinking carb needs a rebuild or a good cleaning.. The water fuel separator has been changed very recently. Am I on the right path?? 92 350 merc mag."
