My Iron Duke IO consistenly ac

My Iron Duke IO consistenly acts up. It is very hard to throttle up after a slow speed. It will often sputter & pop. When I get to WOT it sounds good. After a shut down it will start good but almost always stall. The 2nd time it will take 10 min before it starts. It will often still not want to take throttle. If it stalls again It takes 10 more minutes. Does this at least every other time I run it. I suspect a fuel system issue. Changing carb did not change anything. Please put me on the right track.

"Are you seeing spark when it won't start? Have you done a basic tuneup? What do the plugs look like? Remove the plate in the distributor that holds the points, condenser, etc. Under it will be the advance weights w/springs. Make sure the springs are there and not broken and lube the weights w/WD-40; make sure the weights move.

Have you changed the fuel filters?"
