"So this spring I attempted to fix the problem I've had for years with the throttle/transmission control lever on my 1989 Beneteau 285. She has a Volvo Penta 2002 inboard diesel. I was trying to get the small red button to pop out so the transmission could be engaged.
Hours later I had screwed it up hopelessly. The origin placement of the throttle level was at my right foot. Now I'dlike to mount it on my Whitlock (Lewmar) pedestal. I've looked around for hours and can't find the information for parts for the retrofit (cables, lever, mounting hardware, etc.)
Would be most grateful for a point in the right direction.
