Additional info this has happened of 4 occasions in the same manner. Towed in 4 times getting tired had it at the shop where purhcased and each time they do something different and say it o.k. then it happens again. I do not know what they did each time I took it in. It is still under a short warranty from the seller not a Nissan dealer.

"Probably a short in the ignition system somewhere. Basically the pounding action is disconnecting it. Intermittent problems are hard to find, but if they approach the diagnostic process logically it isn't difficult...It's just time consuming."
