1995 force outboard wont start

"i have a 1995 50hp force outb

"i have a 1995 50hp force outboard by mercury it would start fine run for a breif moment then die and would not start for the longest time , i put new coils,wires,plugs,cleaned the carb 4 times,it seems to have a weak sprk with the plugs out but put them back in spray some starting fluid nothing could it be the cdi???"

"could be, do you have a timing light ? or Spark tester ? (plugs you can put on the plug wires to spark plugs) need to verify you have consisten spark and which cylinders"
