I have oil coming out of the a

I have oil coming out of the air filter on top of my carburator. It is coming thru the black hose attached to the valve cover. Any ideas on what could cause this???

"suggest you check your oil level, if it's over filled from water getting into the block that would raise the pressure in the lower end, pushing it out the only place it can, the hole at the top of the valve cover.

if it's now grey or milky you have water in your oil, either from a cracked block, blown head gasket or cracked intake or exhaust manifold.

"oil level ok because when im running it for say about an hour it iwll lose almost a qt. Doesnt look milky in anyway, just drops of oil hitting the side of the filter and blowing all over the compartment, mainly the top of the valve cover"
