MY head has a small crack betw

MY head has a small crack between the valve seats that they say cannot be fixed. I need a new one. Do the Ford auto heads have the hole for the coolant tube in the end of them? If so what years. Thanks

Wow that is one big chunk of cast iron. How did you crack it? I always thought the block would go long before the head on the 470s.

"But the question is, is there a freeze plug location on the auto heads for the tube or does the hole have to be bored?
The head has a crack between the intake and exhaust valve seats. I thought it could be pinned and new seats put in but was told no. That is how we used to do it when I worked at a machine shop in the 70's."
