2001 DF 115 hp sputters at high rpm

"I'm having trouble with my 2001 DF115. It runs great at idle but not at high rpm- feels like its starving for fuel. I replaced the fuel/water seperator,the bulb and have looked for air leaks- any other ideas before I break down and take it to the dealer?"

I was wondering if you found a solution to your problem as I'm having the same trouble with my 2004 Johnson 115 4 stroke. Like you engine it idles fine but a high rpm feels likes its straving for fuel. I've tried numerous of things but nothing seems to be working. Even had it hooked up to a engine fault computer and no faults were found. If you have any information on what the problem is I would be very appreciative as I'm pulling my hair out.
