Intake manifold leak 360 cu in

I was experiencing white smoke

I was experiencing white smoke and over heating after running 5 min or so above 2000 rpm. I noticed a leak in the intake manifold on my 360 in the area of the heat cross over. Did the leaky manifold cause the overheat and white smoke? What is the best gasket to use as replacement?
(1981 twin screw Trojan F32)
 
"i just had an intake manifold

"i just had an intake manifold gasket go
and I had alot of oil burning
I replaced the vallly pan and used the 2
thin gaskets that come with it ,,
However they make a marine .60 thick gaskets
for the intake and its a common problem with
the 440s with the thin gaskets to go"
