"I can't get my battery to

"I can't get my battery to charge, I have replaced the altinator, voltage regulator and the relay. Also has new battery. Battery charges with charger fine, but when engine is running it will suck the battery dry in 30 minutes. Any answers?"
 
"what alt. do you have? presto

"what alt. do you have? prestolite? delco?
how many wires does the volt reg have? how many wires to alt?
two wire prestolite {2 wires}, and external volt reg.
Large red wire alt to batt check for batt volt.
check red wire to volt reg. Yellow wire to field
on alt.
Delco big red wire =batt voltage. if two more wires
about 10 volts each. coming from helm.
check fuses, connections,broken wires
You need at least a test light.
Volt meter, and clamp on dc amp meter are helpfull
