"We have twin 225hp 318 chryslers. The engines are not the same, for example, the raw water hose 1 1/4" goes from the river threw the trans cooler and to the pump on the starboard side.
The port side goes from the river with 1 1/4" hose almost to the pump and reduces down to a smaller size into the pump. from the pump there is an outlet next to the inlet that goes to the trans cooler, and an outlet that comes out the top of the pump.On this engine the trans can also run hot at high rpm.
The engines do not have any ID tags.
In an earlier post David Kain states that the engines can be identified by the casting numbers,so here they are:
Port 5239030 318 13
Stb 4006730 318 4
I know I have alot here, but I hope you guys can help me answer these questions.
