Hello. I have an AQAD40A and when is running over 3000 rpm - while temp.is OK on 80-85C.- comes out water from the cover of the expansion tank (in metal). Is there air in the freshwater system?
How can I remove it? Other possible reasons?
The cover in new.
Thank you.

"Make sure level is not to high. Have had fresh side of core plug up with sediment, restricting flow. may need to be cleaned. Air in system is always a possibility."

"I have had a similar problem and have found the 2 bottom oulets on heat exchanger almost blocked with alloy scale from corrosion inside. Heat exchanger water can boil and force coolant out of the header tank without engine overheating alarm, sounding, because the sensor is in the top of the head not in the heat exchanger. I have installed VDO heat sensor in heat exchanger, and gauge at the wheel"

There is a company that manufacture diesel engine charge air coolers, you should try Vestas Aicoil A/S in Denmark (www,vestas-aircoil.com), they have a charge air cooler cleaning facility too.
